The Age-Friendly University (AFU) Global Network began in 2012 at Dublin City University in Ireland and now includes more than 110 member universities around the world. Members adopt 10 guiding principles to support their age friendly efforts.
In collaboration with Belfast City Council, Queen’s is tackling student housing challenges, strengthening local engagement, and fostering inclusive community development — all through a strategic initiative that’s the first of its kind in the region.
As a member of the ITGA, you are part of a growing network of campus and community members from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. ITGA is the only professional association that brings together town and gown leaders to address topics of mutual interest, share promising practices and address the most pressing issues facing campus communities today.
