ITGA is pleased to announce the election of Greg McDanel, City Manager of Seaside, California, as its new President. The transition was formalized at the 2025 ITGA Annual Conference, held June 4–6 in Kent, Ohio. McDanel will serve a two-year term through 2027, following the Board’s decision to extend presidential terms to enhance continuity and long-term impact.

The International Town & Gown Association (ITGA) held its annual awards ceremony on June 4, 2025, in Kent, Ohio, celebrating the outstanding contributions of individuals, volunteers, and organizations that have made a significant impact on town-gown relations. The business luncheon, attended by nearly 300 attendees, provided a warm and celebratory atmosphere that highlighted ITGA’s mission and honored the powerful contributions of its award recipients.
