Alexander "AJ" Wray is a Canada Graduate Scholar, Sport Canada Research Fellow, and Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow in the World Urban Parks' Emerging Urban Leaders program. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Geography & Environment at Western University, researching the intersections of healthy communities, impact assessment, geographic information science, and local government policy. In the community, he serves as the President of the Town and Gown Association of Ontario, and on the boards of Mainstreet London and the International Town-Gown Association. He is a Candidate Member with the Ontario Professional Planners Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners. Alexander has worked in a wide-range of research and project management roles with the Ontario Public Service, Regional Municipality of Waterloo, Western University, and the University of Waterloo.
