Molly Merryman, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the School of Peace and Conflict Studies at Kent State University, where she co-founded its LGBTQ+ Studies program.  She is a documentary/ethnographic filmmaker, oral historian and cultural historian and is research director for Queer Britain. Merryman has numerous academic publications including one book, a New York University Press “Classics” imprint. She has presented at academic conferences and universities in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. She has filmed, directed, edited and produced 16 films: both short form and featured length, which have been broadcast in the United States and United Kingdom and screened around the world.
